Styrene-acrylic Resins S-LEC P

S-LEC P resin is based on a styrene and acrylic copolymer and has a wide molecular-weight distribution. It has excellent thermal characteristics (anti offset and fusing characteristics etc.), and charge characteristics (amount of charge and charge stability etc.) making it ideal for use as a toner binder for dry electrophotographic copiers and printers.

Special Features

However, in general the special features are as follows.

• Excellent thermal characteristics such as fixing characteristics, offset resistance, and blocking resistance.
• The charge characteristics such as amount of charge, and charge stability can be controlled.
• Excellent crushability.
• It is possible to endow with functions such as resistance to ADF.

It is also possible to design the resin for application the binder for heat-fusion transfer ink ribbons.
The special features are as follows;
• Excellent low temperature melting characteristics.
• Allows abrasion resistant, durable printing.
